 Mothman vs
Funky chicken

Fear in Garden Festival ... MOTHMAN and FUNKADELIC CHICKEN.

The affray moved around the temples. I remembered my camera and quickly brought to my eye level and started to take photographs. I thought ‘No one will believe this!’ The fracas went on for at least ten minutes and then they noticed me. The two forgot about the other and launched in my direction. I turned quickly, stumbling and ran for dear life, trying to remember route. I got to the opening in the fence and squeezed through catching myself once again on the wire, but this time it cut my arm. I did not stop though and continued to run, not waiting to see if the lights had changed and a car stopping abruptly. I halted, but for brief moment, and my eyes met an angry driver cursing me with his fist shaking in the air. I ran again and did not stop until through the woodland area, past St Michaels and on the main thoroughfare of Aigburth Road. Passers-by looked at me awkward and moved in avoidance at my dishevelled state. I straighten my hair and brushed down my clothes to compose myself.

I immediately made my way home and downloaded the images from the camera and here I present my finding of the days encounter. From talking to other people who have experienced similar, I believe the creatures in these photographs are known as Mothman and the Funkadelic Chicken. I can but only assume the fight I witnessed was one of territory. I will not be returning there again. Well, at least not on my own.
