MET2TATE - Liverpool through your lens
Brought to you by Metquarter and Tate Liverpool as the perfect compliment to their Turner Prize partnership, Met2Tate was a photography trail, leading you through the streets of Liverpool from Tate to Metquarter and vice versa. The resulting photographs build a unique picture of life on the Liverpool streets as the city prepares for its crown of glory, European Capital of Culture 2008.

How to play:  Four ‘pic-stops’ are distinctly marked with a camera icon on the map. Your challenge is to walk the trail from Tate Liverpool to Metquarter or vice versa, via Mathew Street, and Derby Square and capture what you encounter on camera. At each ‘pic-stop’ we invite you to simply stand and see. . Spend as long as you need at each ‘pic-stop’ and think about what Liverpool means to you, your quarter of the Met. Show us your vision of the ‘pool.

Once you are feeling suitably inspired grab your camera and capture something of what you see; a person, a fleeting moment, a window reflection, a flyer on the ground, a panorama, the sky, a sign, anything or everything, your creativity need know no bounds. Once you have a photograph from each ‘pic-stop’ simply upload your photos to the website.
